This species native of India; Burma; northern Thailand; Laos; Vietnam and China usually develops into a large plants with many inflorescences from the same cane-like pseudobulb year after year; are pendulous and carry very many flowers up to 4cm.-(1.5”) across.
Psbs. grow close together, are upright, slender and up to 45cm.-(18”) tall, bearing several dark green leaves at the apex. The flowers only last for 5-7 days in perfect condition, sepals and petals are white, the lip is golden yellow.
Requires cool conditions at all times on account of its moderate to high altitude natural habitat, Humidity, light shade from direct sunlight, ample water whilst new growths develop, followed by a few weeks rest and good continuous air movement.
