	From Iain Wright on 16th May 2020 Coelogyne massangeana I took the flower stem off as most of them had failed. Rotating the pot shows the next two buds developing nicely. This plant always flowers in this succession, the first on its own and the second and third together. Strange!

	From Celia Wright on 11th May 2020 Cypripedium bed This raised bed was made especially for cypripediums. It has been quite sunny until the last 2-3 weeks until the shrubs came into leaf, keeping it in shade for the rest of the summer.

	From Iain Wright on 10th May 2020 A Welcome Visitor I had just installed a fogger on the bench to the right - as opposed to on the floor - when my eye was caught by the large piece of bark sitting between the slats on the middle upstand. But of course, it wasn't bark!
	From Iain Wright on 10th May 2020 Bufo bufo OR Rana tempororia? There are two questions. The first is frog or toad, though its relative youth is obvious. The gap between the slats is 16 mm. The white mark in its nose is odd. Looks like a present from a small passing bird!

	From Iain Wright on 10th May 2020 Maxillaria tenuifolia A good red flower with a strong sweet coconutty sort of perfume. Easier to grow as a small plant. It can become very unwieldy as a large specimen.
	From Iain Wright on 16th May 2020 Schomburghia tibicinis Just discovered that this has been moved into the the 'Ant Loving' genus Myrmecophila. Will I be changing the label; probably not. It takes too much effort looking after the metre high spike on this large plant to worry about such details.
	From Iain Wright on 16th May 2020 Schomburghia tibicinis The flower is quite nice though, as long as I can keep it out of the range of the roof fan which chopped it off last year. It has been used quite a bit in breeding.
	From Iain Wright on 16th May 2020 Odontoglossum naevium A very pretty odont from Venezuela and Colombia. Likes good light and tolerates my intermediate temperatures though it would probably prefer cooler.

	From Iain Wright on 17th May 2020 Lycaste Yoko's Sister A nice Lycaste hybrid, cruenta x aromatica, made in 1999. Note the pair of two-to-a-stem flowers, quite unusual in lycaste which are usually single.
